I titled this photo series “Stuck in the Suburbs" because it perfectly depicts how I’ve felt my whole life in suburbia. Being confined to a place that doesn’t feel right for you, much like staying in a cycle that you’re meant to break. The irresistible need for change with no idea how to get there. I wanted this series to show the edgy side of feeling helpless. The way you get when you think you have nothing to lose and are finally ready to go crazy, go stupid. The freedom of simply being yourself no matter where you're placed in this life. And that moment when you make the walk of shame back home through the burbs the next morning...
